The way in
matters.
The Passage is a continuous expedition through British Columbia’s Coast Mountains. The landscape changes, and the way of moving changes with it, but the journey never loses its line.

The journey never loses its line.

Chapter I / By water
The Coast
Navigating the intricate waterways of Howe Sound, where towering granite cliffs plunge directly into the deep Pacific.

Chapter II / Off-road
The
Backcountry
Leaving the coast behind, the terrain turns hostile yet magnificent. Dense ancient forests give way to narrow river valleys accessible only by modified expedition vehicles and sure-footed mountain horses.
Chapter III / On horseback
The Valley
The terrain softens. Moving inland, the verticality of the coast gives way to wide river valleys. The pace decelerates, allowing for reflection and observation in environments shared with few others.

The pace changes here.

Chapter IV / By air
The Ice
Ascending in altitude when weather permits. The scale here dwarfs human endeavour, requiring precise navigation and deep respect for the environment.
Chapter V / On foot
The Granite
Finish
The culmination of the journey set against sheer rock faces. A final dramatic pause before returning to civilization, solidifying the narrative of the passage.

The Stay &
Food
Comfort follows the expedition.
Recovery is as critical as the exertion. We secure private residences along the route, bypassing traditional lodges. A dedicated expedition chef travels in parallel, ensuring that upon arrival, the environment is prepared solely for you.
