Some roads deserve
more than an afternoon.
Take four days away for good roads, wide-open country and time at the wheel of a two-seat Can-Am Maverick R. Two full days in the hills give you time to swap seats, drive your favourite bends again and stop for lunch above the valley. Settle into camp for three nights, with hot showers, comfortable beds and dinners worth lingering over.

Wake up. Your Maverick R is outside.

Chapter I / Entry
Start Rolling
Your bags go ahead; you take the wheel. After the transfer from Vancouver and time to get comfortable with your Maverick R, gravel replaces asphalt and bends draw you into the pines. The afternoon unfolds through gravel bends and forest trails on the way to camp. Tonight’s beds are already waiting farther along the route.

Chapter II / Driving
Find Your Flow
Some bends deserve another go. Spend a day linking corners, feeling the suspension work and finding your rhythm with the Maverick R. On a section reserved for your group, swap seats and take another run so you both get to drive the best stretches. Then keep going—there is more good road ahead.
Chapter III / Camp
Stay Out
Unpack once and settle in for three nights. After a day on the trails, wash off the dust, pull up a chair and enjoy dinner with your group. There is time to stay at the table a little longer. Tomorrow’s drive starts right outside.

Dust off. Dinner on. Stay awhile.

Chapter IV / Destination
Open Ridge
By now, the Maverick R feels familiar. Take a full day to follow winding climbs through the pines toward an open ridge. The valley appears, engines fall quiet, and lunch comes with a view worth staying for. Take your time over lunch, then follow another good line back to a camp that already feels like yours.
Chapter V / Return
One More Stretch
Breakfast, helmets, engines on. Spend a final stretch behind the wheel before meeting your road transfer. Where access allows, a different way out brings fresh corners and changing views. Back at the vehicles, it is time to hand over your Maverick R—and start talking about the next drive.

The Stay &
Food
A hot shower. A proper bed. Your Maverick R outside.
Three nights in a field camp reserved for your group, with spacious tents, proper mattresses and fresh bedding. Share a tent with your travelling companion; bed arrangements are agreed before departure. Shared facilities provide hot showers, toilets and a sheltered dining space. Breakfast and dinner are served at camp; on the two full field days, lunch comes along for the drive. Arrive hungry.

Why Orange Flint
The Quiet Layer
We take care of vehicles, luggage, meals and camp, leaving you free to enjoy the drive and the people you came with.
Both drivers get the good roads
Share a two-seat Maverick R with time for both of you to enjoy the best stretches. Planned swaps and repeat runs make room for another turn at the wheel.
Somewhere worth driving to
A ridgeline lunch stop gives each climb a reason. The views deserve your time; the driving gets just as much attention.
Three nights. Just your group.
Your group’s space at camp is reserved for all three nights. Unpack once and settle into your own rhythm, with another good day’s driving to look forward to.
Safety
Guides set the route and pace around visibility, surface conditions and driver ability. Briefing, a familiarisation drive and protective equipment come before longer sections. Helmets and restraints stay on while moving. This is recreational driving, not racing. Unauthorised passing or manoeuvres and driving after alcohol are not permitted. Any optional advanced driving requires separate approval and suitability checks; it is never compulsory. Support and emergency arrangements are confirmed for each departure.
Before You Go
- Driving experience
- Previous off-road experience is helpful, but not required for every departure. Tell us who intends to drive; suitability, licence requirements and minimum age are confirmed against operator and insurer conditions before booking.
- Sharing a Maverick R
- Two guests share each two-seat Maverick R. Planned swaps balance both time and the types of road each eligible driver enjoys. Your proposal explains expected moving and driving time; transfers and stops do not count. Non-driving companions must meet passenger requirements. Solo vehicle use is quoted separately.
- Physical demands
- Expect several active hours on uneven ground, with dust, vibration and changing temperatures. Share any injuries, mobility concerns or other relevant limitations before booking so the team can assess suitability.
- Camp and equipment
- Two guests share a tent, with beds agreed in advance; showers and toilets are shared facilities. Helmets, required riding protection and bedding are arranged. Personal clothing, footwear and packing requirements are sent before departure. Solo tent use is quoted separately.
- Price and inclusions
- From US$3,000 per person for a private group of 10, sharing vehicles and tents in pairs. Scheduled Vancouver transfers, guides, Maverick R use, route fuel, required protection, three camp nights, ten meals from lunch on arrival day through lunch on departure day, water and trail snacks are included. Per-person rates are adjusted for groups of fewer than 10 guests. Required non-tax charges are included in the quoted price; government taxes and optional extras are itemised before payment.
- Season and access
- Departures are arranged during the snow-free season when ground conditions and access allow. Snowmelt, fire restrictions, smoke, road closures or severe weather may change the route or prevent departure. A different exit is used only when practical and permitted.
- Insurance and vehicle damage
- Travel insurance must cover the activities you book. Vehicle insurance, damage responsibilities, any security deposit and applicable excess are explained before payment. A travel policy does not automatically replace vehicle damage cover.
- Booking
- Tell us your dates, group size, driving experience and sleeping arrangements. Your proposal confirms vehicles, camp facilities, access and price before any deposit. It also explains what happens if weather, closures or a vehicle problem changes the experience, alongside payment and cancellation terms.
- Getting here
- Road transfers from and to agreed Vancouver collection points are included on the first and last days, alongside shorter driving sections. Both middle days are spent in the backcountry. Flights, accommodation before or after the journey and extra transfers are excluded unless specified. Share your flight plans before booking so suitable timing and buffers can be agreed.
