Enquire about this journey

Find the Atlantic
without being shown the road.

One drives. One navigates.

The roadbook gives you distances, diagrams and decisions — not a blue line to follow.

Across the interior, through the dunes and all the way west, the two people inside the vehicle are responsible for keeping the journey on course.

The Atlantic is the answer.

A 2024 Ford F-150 Raptor drives away up a broad sandy slope, with wheel tracks leading through the dunes.

Read. Decide. Correct.
Find the Atlantic.

A navigator works with a pencil, paper topographic map and measuring rulers.

Chapter I / Read the roadbook

Roadbook Zero

The journey begins as information. Distance. Direction. Junctions. Diagrams. One person drives. The other keeps the route alive — reading the roadbook, matching each instruction to the ground and calling what comes next. There is no blue line to follow.

Chapter II / Become a crew

The Interior

The first kilometres teach the rhythm. Drive. Call the distance. Find the instruction. Read the ground. Reset. The decisions are often small — a track splitting in two, a distance that no longer matches, a turn that looks less obvious from the seat than it did on paper. Slowly, driver and navigator begin to work as one crew.

Chapter III / Recognise & correct

The Wrong Turn

When something stops making sense, the roadbook starts to matter. The distance is wrong. The expected junction does not appear. The track under the tyres no longer matches the one on the page. Stop. Work back to the last thing you know is right. Correct it together, then move again. Navigation becomes real when a decision has consequences.

Two helmeted Rebelle Rally competitors walk along a sand ridge, leaving footprints beside the vehicle tracks.

Chapter IV / Read the terrain

The Dunes

Then the ground changes again. Tracks become less permanent. Distance becomes harder to judge. Sand, wind and relief begin to erase some of the references that worked farther inland. The navigator has the roadbook. The driver has the terrain. Neither works without the other.

Chapter V / The answer

The Atlantic

The air changes before the view does. Then the desert falls away and the Atlantic appears. Stop the vehicle. Close the roadbook. YOU FOUND IT.

The Stay &
Food

The thinking stops for the night.

When the roadbook closes for the day, navigation stops. Dinner is waiting. The vehicle is checked. Fuel, tyres and equipment are reset for the next stage. You eat, sleep and open a fresh page in the morning.

Travellers return to a refined canvas suite with a timber terrace, comfortable seating and dunes beyond.Guests share a freshly prepared dinner served in a canvas pavilion overlooking the dunes, with their roadbook set aside.

You feel the journey. Not the logistics.

Your roadbook

The roadbook belongs to you. Fuel, communications, vehicle support, luggage, overnight setup and contingency do not.

Support around the journey

While you solve the route ahead, support moves around the journey — close enough to act, far enough away that you are never simply following someone else’s line.

Your decisions

You make the navigation decisions.

Our responsibility

We carry the complexity behind them.

Safety

Navigation, weather, terrain and vehicle conditions can change the plan. The journey is supported by experienced local operators, communications and contingency options appropriate to the environment. Exact routing may change when field conditions require it. The goal is meaningful autonomy — not unmanaged risk.

Before You Go

Off-road driving experience
Tell us about your driving experience before booking. The operator confirms the experience, licence and preparation requirements for your departure.
Navigation experience
The journey begins with learning to read the roadbook and match its instructions to the ground. Tell us about your navigation experience so preparation can be discussed before booking.
Changing roles
Whether drivers and navigators can swap roles, and under what conditions, is confirmed with the operator before booking.
The fleet
Orange Flint is particular about the machines. The Atlantic Roadbook is operated with a deliberately narrow vehicle roster: Ford Bronco Raptor — 2024 or newer; Ford F-150 Raptor — 2024 or newer; Toyota Land Cruiser — current generation; Lexus LX600 — current generation. The exact vehicle assigned to each crew is confirmed before departure.
Physical demands
Expect sustained concentration, time in the vehicle and active work on uneven ground. Discuss any mobility or health considerations with us before booking.
Insurance
Orange Flint can arrange insurance, or you may use your own policy. Cover and activity requirements are reviewed for your departure before booking.
Route changes
Weather, sand, visibility, access and vehicle conditions can change the routing. The route and operating arrangements are confirmed for each departure.
Booking terms
Payment, cancellation and change terms are supplied with your proposal before any deposit.
